ToggleYvonne’s drop-shipping and wholesale business
Yvonne Van Gaasbeck, a resident of Las Vegas, Nevada, began selling on Amazon in the spring of 2016. “I started out doing a lot of wholesaling,” she says. “There were some good experiences and some bad ones, but most importantly I learned a lot. Then I started drop-shipping and doing a small amount of retail and online arbitrage.” She has also developed a private label product. One of her expansion plans for her business is printed t-shirts in a particular market niche that she is passionate about.
Even if I wanted to handle reimbursements myself, I wouldn’t know all of the places to look. Refunds Manager found me over $2500 in less than a year…This was money I wouldn’t have been able to find on my own. – Yvonne Van Gaasbeck
Frustrations with the FBA reimbursement process
Yvonne knew that customer returns were a common issue, and she did her best to track them. “The difficult thing about paying attention to customer returns,” says Yvonne, “is that there’s a 45-day lag time with Amazon resolving issues. Who’s going to be able to keep track of all that?”
There were other inventory issues that Yvonne had experienced as well. At one point, she had sent 75 units of a product in, only to find that just 18 had showed up in her inventory. Amazon ended up paying for the other 57 units, but Yvonne was so frustrated with having to go back and forth with Amazon over the claim that she was disheartened with handling reimbursements by herself.
The decision to sign up for Refunds Manager
Having been referred to Refunds Manager, Yvonne felt that signing up was a no-brainer. “To know that someone was going to track it for me for 25% of what they would find, I said ‘I’ll take it!’ If you run those reports one time, you won’t want to do it again. Even if I wanted to handle reimbursements myself, I wouldn’t know all of the places to look.” When she signed up, Yvonne was happy that she wouldn’t need to check issues with customer returns or inventory ever again.
Yvonne’s first check for $750
Within just a couple weeks of signing up, Refunds Manager had recovered $1002.16 in Amazon reimbursements. Yvonne appreciated that the company was able to go back in time when auditing her account, from 6 months to 18 months depending on the case type. Yvonne received approximately $750 from this first invoice. “This was money I wouldn’t have been able to find on my own, so I was happy to pay Refunds Manager their 25%” she says.
Referring Refunds Manager to other sellers
“When I refer people, I tell them it costs you nothing unless they find you money,” Yvonne says. “Refunds Manager found me over $2500 in less than a year. I’ll take it and gladly pay them whatever they invoice me for.” Yvonne is a member of a group of Amazon Sellers that helps everyone learn the ropes, improve their skills and grow their businesses. She refers every seller to Refunds Manager, and as an affiliate (which is opportunity that’s available to every customer), she’s able to receive a commission for each sellers’ reimbursements and receive additional recurring income while helping other sellers protect their hard-earned profits. “Selling on Amazon is a lot of work. I’m glad to have the help from Refunds Manager. They help me save time and money.”
